But they should have lost it in regulation when a Northeastern player missed the front end of a 1 and 1 with about 3 Seconds left in a tie game. This was the result of an SIU player fouling the NEU player bringing up the ball.

So SIU gave NE two chances to win the game at the line.

I think SIU might have been on the receiving end of a bad call.

Bad loss for SIU in the grand opening of their newly renovated arena.
Yea i agree, it showed the SIU bench and no one was moving their lips or signaling for Time out, when the official granted it to them.
I didn't see the replay of the bench - just saw their HC vehemently arguing the call. However, it seems the SIU fans accept the call.
So howbouts our fans behind the opponent's bench scream TIMEOUT at the ref when he's facing the other way and they are out of timeouts?
I had season FOOTBALL tix... did you?

SIU was very lucky at the end of regulation - the foul that was called would be called a shooting foul 9 out of 10 times, not on the floor like it was. And it was a hard drive to the block that SIU had to defend, not just Northeastern bringing it up the court.

What a huge let down to lose to a CAA school at home. Granted, Northeastern is one of the top couple of teams in that conference...but it's the CAA. Not getting help from the conference in the noncon. Now 8-5.

Also, K-State & VA Tech are in a physical war. Pullen on the bench with 3 fouls in the first half. 23-16 Kittens.

Watched a little bit of KState in the first half against Va Tech.

I'm sorry, i know he's their problem not mine, but you cannot have the camera on Frank Martin without getting a visual f bomb. That is embarrassing to me as a sports fan.

I understand ANYONE getting fired up, and it's sports so you are going to have some of that, but the frequency with which it occurs in Manhattan (3 years in?) is unacceptable imho.

I'm sure his "visual f-bombs" are going to multiply with VT leading 38-34.

I am sorry, but Frank Martin is a great coach.

As soon as Pullen starts playing to loose he sits him. He knows Pullen needs to be great this year but he also can't be a one man show.

I know your post wasn't directed at his coaching ability, but I also think he is a good person.
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

                  SDSU 42
                  #12 Gonzaga 37
                  Half

SDSU was up by double digits but Gonzaga put up a decent run.

It could get ugly at SDSU.

                          Final - SDSU - 79 Gonzaga - 76

Quite a game. White and Leonard, remember those names.

SDSU is definitely a top 25 team. A very impressive win at Gonzaga. That will help our SOS.

SDSU will be a load. We cannot go into that game like we did Utah St last year or the results will be a lot worse.

Yea, and LSU more than countered.
