Great 1st half. Terrible last 8 minutes. Durley is a stud. Mekel is still a ball-hog. Notice how much better they play when he is the 2 and MB is the point. Mekel is no point.

A season making win over the Golden Lions of APB. I'm sure this one will catch the committee's eye's come March.
CGM mentioned they "have a lot of work to do" after one of the exhibition games. The operative word here being "lot" because there is no excuse for not beating APB by 20+.
Sure, it's only November but the thought of playing SIU right now would not be suitable viewing for women and children. 8)

Mekel is going to have to make some adjustments or Preadom is the backup PG.

Giving Mekel some credit for having his second coach in 2 years of D1 (and American) ball. His scoring is good, but he wasn't effective at PG.

Cooz didn't have a good game and APB was nails from 3. Griskenas wasn't suited up. Put all those together and maybe we should be happy we got a W.
