I also believe his dad is a season ticket holder as I've seen Connor at a number of games.

Being a fan of the Redskins...I hope our coaching staff is looking into this kid.

KSU was after him and I heard Stanford was showing some interest. I'd have to go check out his thread for others.Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan

Plus, CHS hasn't had a boy's basketball player go D-1 ever, so it was a good effort.
And you are correct. Jordan Phillips, by far our best player, is signed to K-State.

Not sure Connor is a D1 athlete but he moved to North to find out.
His dad was a VERY nice basketball player, but not a D1 athlete (he is an assistant coach for North). Probably won't know for a couple years if Connor is going to have the hops to compete at the D1 level....
But man can he shoot. He has a hair trigger and needs just the smallest of spaces to get his shot up.
He's the best shooter in the City League and it's not even close.

Sorry, back on topic.......
Evan, thank you.
You know how much this staff wanted you, and you rewarded their effort. You probably don't realize it today, and won't for many, many years to come, but there is a special status position for those local kids that choose to stay at home.
I won't put any undue expectations on this young man....Lord knows I've saddled Ehimen with enough to last the next couple of decades.
But I am thrilled to get this kid.
It is indeed a GREAT DAY to be a Shocker!!!!!!!!

I knew Evan's Grandpa played basketball at WSU, but I didn't know his dad played football for the Shox!

I've yet to see him play. Perhaps tonight against my alma mater. I am curious about what a good comparison would be. Seeing him on the gridiron made me think SIU's Brian Mullins. Not sure if that is at all a fair comparison but I would take a Mullins-type PG 7 days a week and thrice on Sunday.

I've only seen him play at the WSU Elite Camp this past summer and he'd just come from an MAYB tournament. From what I've gathered from others, he's more athletic than Mullins ever was. Not sure if he's as heady and tough.
If nothing else, Evan will be a solid contributor to some very good teams here.Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan
