Fantastic to see HCGM get a good local kid. Hopefully this is the start of more.

Great news. Also interesting that Evan leads Heights in blocked shots per game.

I believe he plays point for Heights.
He hasn't played point when I've watched Heights this year. He's more of a 2-3.

Yes, high school; however interesting comment regardless.

"Comeback player - Evan Wessel. Since no one has come back from a last-season injury (that I can think of), Heights’ Wessel is the choice. He gives that team multiple new dimensions because he can play every position on the court."

I know I have heard people mention him playing point, but I'm not surprised at all that he plays multiple positions.

It is certainly possible that he could play anywhere from 1 to 3 at the college level.

What is the possibility of him still growing a few inches since his father and grandfather were blessed with more heigth? Anyway he is still growing?

It was noted in the recruiting forum that his grandfather, Ev Wessel, was 6'10. Does anybody know how tall his father is? Did his dad also attend WSU and play a sport there or just his grandfather.

None of this really matters I'm just curious.
