A Nebraska prosecutor said the identities of seven people who threatened referee John Higgins after Kentucky's NCAA tournament loss to North Carolina in March were ascertained after a lengthy investigation.
Now, if this had been WSU fans, I'm sure the death penalty would have been implemented.

"UC, Xavier, UK all in USA TODAY's updated preseason Top 25" - Cincinnati.com
by Dave Clark,
Updated 2:19 p.m. ET May 26, 2017
"The good news for the UC Bearcats is they're No. 21 in college basketball's updated preseason Top 25 for the 2017-18 season by USA TODAY Sports' Scott Gleeson.
The good or bad news, depending on how you look at it: The AAC's newest member, Wichita State, ranks No. 4. (UC no doubt welcomes the challenge, but keeping the Shockers from winning the league title apparently won't be easy.)..."

"...2. UCF is a sleeper NCAA Tournament team with the return of Tacko Fall
How do you hide a 7-6 big man?
You can’t, especially when he averaged 10.9 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks on a team that led the nation in field goal percentage defense and won 24 games while advancing deep in the postseason NIT.
The American Conference received a major boost when it added Wichita State in men’s basketball this offseason, but it also got a major jolt when Fall opted to return to UCF.
He and underrated lead guard B.J. Taylor — a legitimate candidate for American Conference Player of the Year honors — give the Knights a 1-2 punch that will offer them a legitimate chance to challenge for an NCAA Tournament berth in 2018.
Johnny Dawkins will have to find a way to replace Matt Williams’ shooting in his second season, but thanks to several transfers on the wing — Terrell Allen (Drexel), Aubrey Dawkins (Michigan), and Dayon Griffin (Louisiana Tech) — and one player who returns from injury in Chance McSpadden (5.6 points in ’15-16), UCF is well equipped to do so.
Add veteran big man A.J. Davis (8.3 points, 7 rebounds in ’16-17) as well as Texas Tech transfer Rokas Ulvydas up front, and there are legitimate reinforcements on the baseline.
The Knights are a legitimate NCAA contender next season along with Wichita State, Cincinnati, SMU, Temple, and UConn...."
