Did I just see that one KSU player has attempted TWELVE 3s?

According to the ESPN box score, Kamau Stokes was 5-14 (!) from three, which means he took more threes than Dean Wade or Wesley Iwundu took shots. How's that for winning technique? And this from a guy who averages 10 shots / game.

Of course, he also missed all five of his tries inside the arc and his three-point percentage is better than his overall percentage on the season -- think about that for a second -- so maybe long range was best for him. Still, it's hard to imagine that the Chickenhawks were disappointed to see Stokes fire away 19 times. Maybe he decided to be the successor to P'Allen Foster.

Edit: One other interesting item from the ESPN box -- on The Flagship's mighty roster, seven guys played 199 out of 200 minutes tonight, with 40 of those minutes going to the lovely duo of Bragg and Vick. Good thing criminal defense attorneys are readily available in NE Kansas.
