So, for those with the knowledge of NBA workings, would this mean he gets paid and immediately becomes a free agent?

Not even close. Off the top of my head, Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd, Ghostbusters 2, Weekend at Bernie's II and in case you're completely normal and don't have effed up random people in your life, The Human Centipede (Full Sequence and Final Sequence) which exists in such a level of depravity and mental damage that unless you're, unfortunately so, familiar with this "work", you just take my word for it and not try to find what it's about. I promise you, what you see, cannot be unseen. Take my word, you'll be LINING UP to see Escape from LA for the 10 millionth time before you sit through 5 minutes of that disaster of humanity. ********YOU'VE BEEN WARNED*********

Poor Ron. One of the sweetest shooters I've ever seen when he first started playing at WSU. Impeccable touch. I'm assuming the main reason he was let go was that he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn anymore. Could it be that his physical style (Play Angry) which he continually honed at WSU robbed him of the finesse that's necessary to be a long range bomber? It did seem like his shot accuracy slid a little bit the longer he was at WSU.

Ron's 3-point shooitng at WSU:
Freshman: 30-84 (35.7%)
Sophomore: 68-179 (38.0%)
Junior: 80-209 (38.3%)
Senior: 64-183 (35.0%)
Career: 242-655 (36.9%)
Landry is #2 on the career 3-Point % list at 43.7% and Fred is 10th at WSU at 38.6%. Not sure where Ron falls.
Clevin Hannah is #18 on the single season 3-point % rankings at WSU at 42.5% in 2009-10. Landy's on this list twice. At #8 with 44.2% in 2017-18 and at #13 with 43.9% in 2016-17.
Ron was a good, but not great 3-point shooter. However, he had a number of other aspects to his game that made him a great Shocker player.Last edited by 1972Shocker; December 13, 2018, 05:18 PM.

NBA
NBA players have one of the most generous pension plans in all of professional sports. They are vested into their pension plans after playing at least three seasons in the league. The minimum benefit for a player that retires at the age of 62 is $56,988 per year - not a bad retirement for a three-year career. The maximum benefit for any player is $195,000, and it takes 11 years of NBA service to qualify for this benefit.
