Yeah, the inclusion of Cal is insane. Only 6 of the 107 brackets on the matrix have them in. To have them in ahead of WSU is bonkers.

Didn't know where to post this but I had some ejoyable reading on phog.net today. They are in full melt down mode on the shocks and even have their own thread devoted to the shocks. Most of the talk before we got the auto bid is about how we don't deserve to be in the tournament and then in the same breath how it would be a major screw job to the Hawks if we were an 8 or 9 seed in Tulsa. Its almost like they just found out the earth is round. Some good reading if you have the time.

wichita state being left out would have been the most egregious snub possible this year.

KU fans are convinced this is their best team in the last 5 or so years (maybe it is, but if it is then they have not been great the last 5 years). KU fans would be absolutely devastated if we ended golden boy Frank Mason's national title aspirations.

Palm had no choice. He had us out so he can't put us higher than an 11 after one win against a Valley team who he says is not a good win. It's extreme bias but he is consistent.

He did have a choice. He could have owned up to his mistake, adjusted the seeding, and took his lumps.

Instead, he's just gonna get embarrassed again on Sunday. He'll never learn.

On CBS Sports Channel, Steve Lappas just called out his CBS cohort Jerry Palm. Making fun of the fact that Palm has WSU seeded 11. Has a dinner bet going with Rothstein (Palm's doomsday sidekick) about WSU being an 11.

I mean, I just find it hilarious that his own CBS colleagues are calling him out this badly and routinely. Does Lunardi ever get called out on ESPN? NOPE.
