I think a bunch of TV guys "slightly biased" against WSU is the worst. People believe people who are in the realm of reality.

If Jerry goes off the deep end, its free pub for WSU, and despite its negativity, will likely earn the Shox more fans as casual observers love to fight for the little guy who constantly gets screwed.

Best case is Palm really does let this affect his judgment and he goes deeper into the negative insanity.

Lunardi's bracket is quite good except the 1st round. I'd prefer a P5 to VCU. However, if it were VCU, it's time for a payback for our loss to them in the round of 64 in 2012

I just don't understand how Palm has Cal in but didn't have WSU in.

His whole schtick was that WSU "hasn't beaten anyone" so that means they're out. But Cal has literally beaten nobody and lost to some BAD teams like Oregon State and their 273 RPI. Plus WSU has a higher RPI than Cal.

It's like he has them in JUST because they're in the PAC 12 and that's it. Or he's just looking at SOS, which is ridiculous in it's own right.

Yeah, the inclusion of Cal is insane. Only 6 of the 107 brackets on the matrix have them in. To have them in ahead of WSU is bonkers.

It's a moving target with him. First it's RPI, then that doesn't fit his argument so it becomes Top 100 W-L record. When that becomes a better factor in our favor, then all of a sudden it's SOS---which is undoubtably his argument for Cal. While predicting the selection committee's opinion is one thing, picking and choosing whatever standard excludes us or makes us look the worst reeks of witch hunt.

It's an interesting thought but I'm not sure if there's much difference betweeen what he does and WVU. HAVOC is gimmicky, Marshall just coaches good fundamental all around hoops. (Not that there is anything wrong with Smarts style)
