I have hinted at it and I will go out on a limb and say it. If PA can play some D he will start
at SF next year.
PG - CF, LS, DS
SG - LS, PA, CF, AR
SF - PA, ZB, MM
PF - MM, RK, Willis
C - SM, RN, Willis
Anything else will be a welcome surprise but I think CF, LS , PA, MM and SM will be a strong starting
five and we will have a deep bench

Keys to next year:
1. Point Guard- Conner, Landry, Smith, Simon
Landry has stated he will be learning how to play point. We also have Smith coming in. My question is whether Conner has the ability to run the point in Marshalls system. Honestly, I expect to see a lot of Simon in the first half of the season as Smith gets his legs under him.
2. Shaqs Conditioning
We need the beast we saw this week every game next year.
3. Coaching staff
There has been a lot said about offense the past few weeks. I agree with the idea of a shooting coach. I think if ACGH leaves, his replacement should be an offensive guru that specializes in the shooting form. Also, it would be great if we could find a chair on the bench for Jans. Some know how highly I think of him. I am not holding my breath for a return. I think there are better situations out there for him.People who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do. -Isaac Asimov

Landry, Markis, Shaq are "Locks". Frankamp probably close. The last spot is still up in the air, I believe.

Sure, he has a lot of raw talent, but he's basically known the system for two years and still doesn't seem to get it. Does he get another year to see if that will be the year? Maybe he will be like Derail Green who improved a lot after he left.
And then there is Nurger. He's had a few flashes of potential, but he's nowhere near the type of player that Marshall needs to have."I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. I like to win more than 99.9% of the people in this world, but he may top me." -- Gregg Marshall 12/23/13 :peaceful:

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".
A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

I would be shocked if one or both of the JUCO transfers don't start.Last edited by DPruett2333; March 19, 2016, 05:18 PM.
