    • I just want to say. If Karma is a thing, Syracuse will not make a tournament for the next 10 years. Curse their luck, curse the selection committee, and curse CBS.

Syracuse was 20 spots lower in RPI AND KenPom and got a higher seed with no play-in game. They got that because their coach was suspended during some of their losses. Yeah. They broke the rules, and got more rewarded for it than we did for literally having our best player out and a guy paralyzed.

Syracuse got to play (pre-tournament KenPom) #57 Dayton (7), #135 Middle Tennessee (15), #30 Gonzaga (11) to go to the Elite 8. We had to play #27 Vanderbilt (11), #13 Arizona (6), #12 Miami (3) to go to the Sweet Sixteen. We did this with 87 hours between Game 1 and Game 3 and about 5 hours less sleep than you'd expect from that. They had about 170, without the sleep issues.

Switch our routes, we are a Final Four team. No doubt about it in my mind.

I wonder if the committee would have been allowed to give us that 10 seed and still have us in the play-in game? I really hope it's not allowed because the committee would have no other justification for not sticking us/Vanderbilt in St. Louis and Syracuse in Providence. Maybe @Jamar Howard 4 President: knows.

Thanks to Giddy Potts, I mentioned this when everyone was excited about the MSU game, it created an opening for Syracuse, we all knew MTSU would fold next game.

This is one of those deals where, without examining the facts, it seems fishy. Then upon examining the facts closer, it makes me want to kick someone square in the grapes. I should stay away from these fine fact checkers on shockernet for awhile, but I can't. I need help!!!!

I would like to say "that is all" but I can't.

Virginia will paste Syracuse and no one will ever remember Syracuse was even in the tourney. #liveon #greatfuture

                  • For anybody that is interested, the UConn women's team is in a real battle with Mississippi State in the women's sweet sixteen. The first quarter just ended and it's 32-4. My goodness, just give them the title now and forget playing the rest of the tournament.

One of our sarcasm meters isn't working today, probably mine. Yea no, UConn is the team with 32. Actually, UConn is up 51-12 now and their coach is still arguing calls. What a putz Geno is. Can't stand him.

We share a common view of Geno; I live for the day he gets his!

Sadly, I don't think it'll happen this season. With South Carolina and Notre Dame getting upset last night, that doesn't leave much. Perhaps Baylor, Stanford, or Oregon State could keep it within 30. God I hate UConn with a passion!

                            • 61-12 at halftime. Unreal. Check all their players for steroids or something

                              • Such is the state of women's basketball. Do they really think this is going to develop interest in the game. A few schools get all the really good players, particularly UConn, and then they let them play the first few rounds at home. Boring.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.
