MVC Tourney - WSU vs UNI Game Thread

I hope Elgin listens to the CBS bvroadcast of the Evanville/InSU game. Once the game was into the mind-numbingly boring category, the announcers spent the rest of the time justifying why Jerry Palm is right when he says WSU shouldn't get into the tourney.

That's from the people paying to broadcast the league tournament! Maybe, just maybe, there might be somebody willing to broadcast the games who might refrain from bad-mouthing the league?

CBS broke away from the MVC championship game in some areas in 2013 to show a Big 10 regular season game. I doubt CBS cares what their announcers say.

I doubt, seriously, that the selection committee spends even 2 seconds looking at this board. They do, however, watch basketball games (a lot of them), especially during these conference tournaments. To have the announcers, paid by the league, speak against the conference champion, doesn't speak well for how things are being run from the top.

Please tell me we have something better than the play that was drawn up during a timeout right before the end of regulation. One on one versus UNI's best defender? I would be intrested to hear the rationale behind our approach in that situation. I realize I'm not a coach, but I just don't get it.

Was having cordial interaction with UNI fans, until this drunk blue-haired old sot walked into Lombardos where we were minding our own business when this wrinkled old ***** comes in taunting the WSU people. I tried to tip the waiter a c-note to spit in her pasta.

Both the play calling and the execution was horrible this weekend.

I don't understand what happens to these guys when they go to St. Louis. Almost every year, the same thing. They freeze up.

What happened to the team that was confident and winning by 30 every game, even on the road?

My 8 year old grandson reported in. He said it was his worst day and his best day. I said why was that. He said it was his worst day because the Shockers lost and made him cry. He said it was his best day because he got to high five Landry Shamet.
