I have to admit, I'm glad that's over.
The first half spurt was amazingly fun.
We waited a long time to see this version of Grady.
I didn't shed tears, it's part of the college process. I'm excited to see where the seniors go from here (after the season's over of course). I will admit that it will be strange to see the Shockers come out of the tunnel without Evan, Fred and Ron.
I'm sure the rest of the Valley is glad they won't be facing Fred and Ron next year. Probably figuring how their team will win a championship. That's why I'm calling next year's team (fill in a name) and the Heartbreakers. At season's end we will be talking four-peat.Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

Too awesome. Loved it. Absolutely fantastic to see WSU rip the Redturds a new hole on senior day. The highlight package is lengthy. Should see some good SC run tonight, as always is a Redturd game tradition.
THANK YOU SENIORS!Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

Man I can't stand ISUR. If Creighton is public enemy number 1, then ISUR is 1b. From ISUR fans referring to WSU as an "open admission" university or their coach and players committing bush league crap, they are quickly elevating my hatred for those goofs.
They have serious delusions of grandeur for a 13 loss, 5 seed NIT team. Today was a great victory, but I will not be satisfied until the Shox win by 25+ against these clowns in St. Louis. In fact, I think I'd take greater satisfaction if we didn't even face them due to them laying an egg earlier in the tourney and jeopardize their NIT bid.

Revenge is best served with roasted Redbird. How sweet it is. Actually, it was kind of an odd game. Their was a 5:30 stretch late in the first half where the Shocks went on a 20-2 run and their was a 3:30 stretch midway through the 2nd half where the Shocks went on a 11-0 run. So the Shocks won those 9 minutes by a score of 31-2. Illinois State won the other 31 minutes 56-43.
I have to give Illinois State some credit. They are probably the only team in the Valley that can match up to the Shocks physically and athletically.
If the Shocks had shot the ball evenly moderately good fromt the perimeter and from the FT line this would have beend a 30+ point win.
Thanks, kudos and congratulations to Fred, Ron, Evan, Anton and Bush. But let's just make this the beginning of a really, really special ending.

Is there any reason right now that kansas.com is putting KU front and center, while the local team, who just graduated 2 of its best players in its history and completed another Valley season, is taking the back seat?
**** that POS newspaper.Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

Exhale... what an afternoon of celebration. For me it started with accompanying my mother to center court right before tip off for the Oxford Grand resident Student-Ahtlete of the game promotion. Then the crowd, band and the team brought it for the next two hours of great Shocker basketball. My decision to bring extra kleenex was a good idea, as 10,500 of my best friends celebrated the most decorated senior class I can remember. Thanks for the memories fellas. Let's keep the carpet ride in flight.
