Haha... We got a 7 seed last year when we actually had some quality wins. What makes you think we will get a 3/4 seed this year when we have one good win against Utah and wins against "pretty ok" Evanville and UNLV?

    • A win out, including in St L and I would expect us to get a 6 but in a favorable location.

            • Maybe the lower the better.

1 seed lost in 2nd round
7 seed lost in sweet 16
              8 seed Final Four

Maybe if they give you an 11 seed you win it all.

Or don't give Kentucky an 8 seed.

                • Just read this from another site. "Wichita State will effectively clinch the Missouri Valley if they beat Southern Illinois at home on Wednesday, a game in which they'll be a double-digit favorite in Vegas. But despite how well they've been playing, and how strong their computer numbers are, they still have just a single RPI Top 50 victory (Utah). As long as they go 16-2 or better in conference play, they should be in good shape on Selection Sunday, but they're still far from a sure thing. Assuming they get into the NCAA Tournament, however, they're going to be one of the scariest 7/8/9 seeds the Tournament has ever seen."

Ironic because Kentucky in 2014 was one of the scariest 8 seeds ever with all that talent they had but never lived up to it until the end of the year.

You guys had injuries preventing you from living up to your expectations to start the year.

I'm loving the comments. The denial is phenomenal.

Thinking we are living just to beat KU is hilarious. I have been savoring our battles against Gonzaga, Ohio State, Louisville, Kentucky, Indiana, and yes, Kansas. Do we won them all? No. But we are as talented as any of the blue bloods over the last 3-4 years. As long as 3G is steering the ship we will be relevant on a national stage. I love the negative comments.

Their ignorance just reveals their narcissism.
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

Why not? This one's beautiful. We should all be this smart!

wichtita is liken to a team like ok st and I/state...they play one good game and beat ku...then ok st loses to 2 weak opponests...I/st plays its best game against ku..then loses the next two games playing like they are used to..wichita is like these two teams..looking to play ku only...they may be winning but that weak team they played yesterday couldn't beat the sisters of mercy...I can root for wic but I don't think thay can do anything in the tourney this year..they do not look cohesive..
I give it five lemons. :lemo::lemo::lemo::lemo::lemo:

                      • A lower seed actually may not be a bad thing. It worked well in 2013 :)

                        • With the way the committee seeds I honestly would not be shocked to see us seeded 9+... Last year we had the #15 (UNI) and #66 (ISUr) RPI teams in the valley to add to our resume and still got a 7 seed. Right now Evansville is #77 and I don't think any of us would be shocked to see them slip down a little more before the season is up.

                          • A lower seed would just add further motivation for these guys and Marshall. The one team that is really not a good matchup is OU, possibly UNC, but the jury is out on them. Any other team and these guys have as good a chance as anyone else.

                              • Joe Lunardi has Vanderbilt in his first 4 out ? Wow. I thought they were pretty far off right now considering they resume is exactly 1 home win over Florida by 1 point.
