P.S. Attention Rebel fans; I haven't tried any of these, just check out the stars. :)

Before you realize it, you are walking into the Red Garter and I'm not sure what happens to people in there...

UNLV fans,
Our baseball program had the #2 ranked recruiting class for 2014. Ask us how the 2015 season went with all of those killer 'cruits. Nevermind... I'll just tell you: worst final record and performance metrics out of any WSU team since the sport was resurrected here under former Coach Gene Stephenson in the 1970's.
On the basketball side, the current WSU player with arguably the most NBA draft potential is a guy who chose to walk on at our program rather than get a full ride at a D2 school. I believe he was 0 stars out of 0 stars out of high school, if you could even find him on a recruiting site.
Take those caveats for what they are worth.
Seriously, it's like groundhog day around here with the puffing of chests from various visiting fan bases with regards to them telling us about the ranking levels of individual players, and then Gregg Marshall and Sons goes out as a team and throws them all into a clown suit. I can't count the number of schools who have fallen into this logical trap over the years, only to get owned by WSU. Suffice to say you would recognize the names. Now this might not happen on Wednesday, as our team has gone a little 'As the World Turns' here at the start of the season, due to really no fault of their own, but it doesn't change the fact that your game is a little tired around here.
Lastly, and this might be a shock to you, but little ol' WSU outspends UNLV by nearly 80% on men's basketball - $3.8M versus $6.8M. Weird... considering how apparently important UNLV basketball is to the historical fabric of this nation... or whatever.
