The guy cannot speak a clear sentence on the air and has ZERO time management capabilities on Sports Sunday. Even an intended compliment toward the Shockers comes out of his mouth as an excuse. Still, he very well could be the most talented to come through Wchita in quite a while, but I'd rather look at Dani or Jen while I'm hearing dribble.

Don't let Doc see you posting stuff like that. He's a little tough on people who complain about other's privilege.

I think, unless you're say, Mark Adams, you have to be a bit of a P5 but kisser to work at ESPN.

I bet he does. The real question is if the suit is red.

              • Landry Shamet picked the game — Missouri State on Feb. 18. He wanted to play with the Wichita State seniors, the athletes who created the program he joined and the athletes he wanted to help win in the NCAA Tournament.“If I was ready to go, I would have played,” he said. “I felt the entire time a sense of responsibility and unselfishness that I had to do it for those guys. I let them know that, ‘I want to do it for you guys. You’re a big reason why I came here.’ ”
He won’t play this season after undergoing surgery to repair a stress fracture in his left foot in November. While his decision has been obvious for almost two weeks, coach Gregg Marshall wanted the words to come from Shamet. He will seek a medical hardship after a freshman season that consisted of three games before the injury.

                • Can't wait to watch Landry play the next four years. He's gonna be very good.

                    • "Shamet sees the drill helping with his transition to playing point guard at WSU."

I don't think that means Ty isn't or cannot be in the point guard plans whatsoever. Coach always likes to have 2 or 3 or 4 or more PGs.

MrCLove said unbelievable things about Fred. tempshock said these things about Tyrone. http://shockernet.net/forum/showthre...l=1#post583595 And ARShocker said these unbelievable things about Austin Reaves http://shockernet.net/forum/showthre...l=1#post634067

The first ended up becoming not only believable, but expected. I believe both of the others can come true as well.

                          • All the guards do these drills. I'm pretty sure Peyton Allen isn't going to be a point guard very often, but he's doing the drills too.

                            • I like it that Landry is wanting or at least pointing toward being the Point Guard next year. He is a very good passer and is willing to take a back seat to make his team mates better with his skills. He also has good leadership skills and is very cerebral in his approach.

                              • They want all gaurds to be able to play PG, at the very least only for emergancy type situations.
