Then there's the method used with Nate Funk at CU a few years ago. Altman brought Funk back with maybe a month left in the season, put him in a game. From what happened in the game, Altman determined that Funk was unable to go, so Funk took the rest of the season off and took the shirt. The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

Sounds like this is the same injury that Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant suffered this season and Falcons WR Julio Jones and Oklahoma Thunder's Kevin Durant have had. Here's a good article from a Dr.'s perspective - appears to be called a Jones fracture.

His injury also occurred two weeks later than Landry's, but he didn't have surgery on it until around mid-January, after realizing it wasn't going to heal well enough to play. At that point there was no way he could come back before the end of the season.

Landry sure would have helped this tourney.
It will interesting to see where this team is when the decision to bring him back comes.
Hopefully, enough guys are playing well enough that they can get four full year out of him.The Assman
