Landry sure would have helped this tourney.

It will interesting to see where this team is when the decision to bring him back comes.

Hopefully, enough guys are playing well enough that they can get four full year out of him.

I suspect FVV and CF at 100% will significantly lessen the need to bring him back prematurely.

Agreed. I'm still convinced he's our Ron Baker 2.0. Out with a stress fracture for a couple months, but he'll come back and tear it up in March (and a little February).

I thought it was 10-12 weeks total before practicing, then needs to get into game shape.

I heard 6 to 8 and 10 to 12. So realistically it could be January or it could be March. I'm sure there is a lot of flex in how long it will take based on how his body heals.

I also heard both and everything in between. The one I'm most hopeful about is "with surgery" 6-8 weeks and w/o surgery it was 10-12. No idea what the real timetable is and besides that, those are typical timetables and not definitive. Too early to tell.

According to a tweet by Landrys mom, it appears that they took the hard cast off today and moved him to an air cast.

Sounds like he is doing good. I just hope that his return isn't rushed. I trust the medical staff will do that.

As time goes on, the need for Shamet to come back and play this season seems to grow.

You can worry about three years from now later. You have to do everything you can to make your team as strong as possible for the current season.

The full cavalry is almost back.
