Hamstrings can be a bear to get over, I know from my playing days many light years away. Hopefully Fred can rest it over Christmas break. I agree we might have a ruff time in our OOC schedual with Fred running on half a tank

I ran into a physical therapist tonight and asked him how long he would expect Fred to be out if he was the average athlete. His answer was six weeks or more.
I doubt Fred will wait that long, but I hope he takes the long run approach and tries to heal before playing again.
Zach Brown has to get his KU mojo.

This team is not good in half court offense.
We are missing damn near all of our mid range jumpers and a lot of bunnies.
Not so easy to do, but we really need to get out in transition come hell or high water.
We have too many good ballers trying too hard to fit into a system. It just looks awkward. They are too good to stay in a funk for too long, but these last 2 games were fugly."When life hands you lemons, make lemonade." Better have some sugar and water too, or else your lemonade will suck!

I'm glad that Markis got some minutes today and hope we are in a place for him to get good minutes (usually won't happen). Brown isn't playing well either. As I said that other day, if Brown doesn't get it together, I think tahat Baker will be an answer at the 3 to go along with Wessel after FVV and Conner are ready to play.Livin the dream

Our flow on offense is not good right now. This is the result of FVV hurt/playing at less than 100%. Ron is getting his, but the rest of the team is still figuring out their roles. We have consistently had 2-3 guys on the floor who look like they are thinking and not playing at game speed yet.
Getting FVV back at 100%, plus the addition of another scoring threat in Frankamp, will take a lot of pressure off the Freshman and Sophomore guards.
I really don't like how Zach Brown has played so far this year. I'm not sure if this is a confidence thing, but he looks lost on both ends of the court. He's fouling a lot and not making a noticeable impact on the offensive side of the ball.
Ty seems like an all or nothing guy right now, which is to be expected from a freshman guard. I find myself consistently responding in two ways to his play: "Yes!" and "Why?!" That will improve with experience.
I thought Eric had a ton of good energy when he entered in the 1st half. Then he faded and I didn't see him the rest of the game.
Good for BWam.
In the postgame, Gregg spoke about how important it is that each of the younger guys got at least 8 minutes or more today. Each game experience will continue to speed up our internal game clocks. This team is nowhere close to where they will be in a couple of months. FVV needs to get back to 100%, the freshman need to continue to gain experience and be put in situations where they can be successful, CF needs to be able to hit some shots, and we need another productive player in the post.

2. Our offense sucks, it looks like we are missing our point guard.
3. ZacB is a long way from being a lockdown defender.
4. Kelly was ok, as was EW.
5. Tyrone Taylor gets yanked immediately after a mistake. Not so the others.
6. Shaq may very well finish his career elsewhere. I thought he had turned the corner.
7. Coach shoulda got a T.
8. Grady is good, even with a lackluster game today.
9. Baker's 31 will hang in the rafters someday.
10. 2-1 in Orlando would mean that Fred is healthy, or Marshall is a helluva coach."Prediction is very difficult, especially if it is about the future."
