Yep. Probably won't drop Purdue behind us, but will keep them in range, and Iowa winning is a good thing for us, at least until we get much closer to them in the poll.

    • When Iowa is good, they're really freaking good. We caught a glimpse of it in Orlando even if it was against our 3rd string players. Iowa and Oklahoma are probably the only two teams I really do not want to play in the NCAA tournament.

      • Iowa now up 16. Maybe this turns into a 20 point beatdown and Purdue drops off quite a few ballots. I still think there is a chance WSU could pass Purdue tomorrow. No guarantee, but possible.

Possible, I suppose. Hadn't really considered a 20+ point loss, as it was close earlier. Plus, it will help our numbers considerably.

            • #18 Butler lost twice this week

3 teams in the 21-25 range (Southern Cal, South Carolina, and Purdue) all lost once.

#26 Pitt, #27 Clemson, #29 Valpo all lost

#31 St Mary's beat #32 Gonzaga, but other than that, there weren't many notable wins to boost anyone into the top 25.

#28 WSU should be top 25 tomorrow regardless of any scenanigans a few individual posters might pull. I'll predict #24.

              • Today is one of those days where the valley reminds you that it is really bad.

Indiana state and Missouri state will probably both win.

With Iowa, we've got an eyewitness scouting report of their current team, and they don't have one against ours. HCGM usually has his team do an incredible job in revenge matches.

We're in pretty good shape. I think you're right and we really may break into the rankings higher than #25. We may jump up pretty solidly.

Not only that but they schedule both Valley games at the exact same time. Just absolute genius.

                            • 8-0 Trees forces an early time out. I want ISUb to win this won to help us sew up the conference title. SIU can keep winning as far as I'm concerned b/c we will no doubt sweep them.
