Unless Fox pulls out (like they did last year) to show a darts match instead of a Creighton game. The pun was intended because Fox is pretty much sticking it to the Bluejays.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

Sully with some good factual tidbits regarding network telecasts on his twitter page right now. Mobile and trying to link from my phone is annoying...and honestly you should probably have his twitter page bookmarked anyway.

I retweeted them all too. Real Shocker fans should probably be following me, anyway. :)

I've been planning for over a year not to miss that one.

Now I'm considering flying into Chicago for the Loyola game and then making it to town for that one. Wish we could have had back-to-back home games to end the year.

          This season needs to start.

If you had two free tickets to ANY home game this year outside of Senior Night and IBA, which game do you go to? I'm trying to decide if it's UNLV or Nevada for teams I won't get to see often, or if it's UNI for a Saturday game or maybe Drake for New Years Eve. (The tickets aren't really free. I bought them at a fund raiser for my daughter's school, and I get the game of my choice minus the two mentioned.)

Hmm... I wanna say either UNLV or Nevada. Whichever team is projected to be the better opponent. I personally like watching a hard fought win. Really gets the heart rate up.

Just realized Drake is a 1pm game and UNI is an 11 am game. The other two are weeknights, but Nevada is during Christmas break for my daughter I think, so she could probably spend the night with grandma. That may be what makes the decision for me.

I don't know a ton about Nevada, but UNLV has been landing 5 star recruits the last couple years. So if you went to that game you may be watching a future lottery pick. (Other than all of the Shocker's future lottery picks ;) )

UNLV then Utah would give me a picture without, and with Frankamp I guess.

That's such a big home week. A lot will be shown about this team on how they handle those 2 games back to back.

Honestly if it's a conference game, I'd probably want Evansville. They've got two guys worth watching one last time. Kinda like the way we applaud guys like Jake Odom and Seth Tuttle. When you have a couple Valley seniors like Balentine and Mockevicious, it's pretty special. Plus, Mock is always a tough matchup to watch our bigs try to handle and I enjoy that kind of basketball.

If it's a non conference game, I'd probably take UNLV if I was smart but my MVC blood would take Nevada because they are basically an honorary MVC roster the next couple years.

EDIT: never mind, Marcus Marshall and Jordan Caroline don't play till next year. I forgot about the transfer year.

                            UNLV it is

2-3 years ago I was going through Denver Int'l security when I noticed some skyscrapers in line with me. I quickly noticed it was the Wolfpack and struck up a conversation with what looked to be a young student assistant. I asked this young lad if it was common for them to travel commercial and he said as long as we're not too far from a commercial airport we'll fly with the general public. It just so happens they had played up in Laramie, Wyoming the night before - thus had flown into DIA and bused to/from Wyoming...Enjoy the ride my friends...life is good at 21st & Hillside.
