Yes. The highlight was when HCGM said the he was told not to referee, to which Dave Dahl responded, "well, somebody had to!"

Nothing really new or different than what has already been reported and discussed.

There will be a HCGM radio show on Monday at 6:00 PM.

BTW, Bruce Heartl called in from I-70 enroute from St. Louis this morning on the Sports Daily show.

One thing that stuck with him was how genuinely touched HCGM seemed to be by the show of support at the Shocker Pep Rally 2-hours before the game. Bruce said you could tell that he was very appreciative of the fans for hanging with the team and that it meant a lot to HCGM.

Kudos to those Shocker fans would were made the trip this year.

Not to change the direction of the thread, but does anyone have the radio cast of the game last night?

On shockerradio it seems that the MVC game is the old Evansville game.

Am I missing something?

The link at shockerradio.com had a digit in the filename as Feb. 6th, so clicking on it gave us the Evansville game file. They have the game broadcast here:

No prob- I love hearing their archived games- especially after a night of ruckus in the student section.

It's kinda like my adddiction to trading for bootlegs of concerts I've attended.

My wife and I think it's cool to hear the broadcast after we saw the games. Too bad they only go back to the Jan. of 2006- I would really enjoy hearing the south padre island games from the start of the 05-06 season, especially Karon's dissallowed buzzer-beater. It looked good through my student paper's camera's lens! :)

Did you folks catch the conversation between Holtus and Spoon prior to the BU/CU game regarding how many great officials have been employed to work this tournament? It makes me wonder if Elgin's office or his email has been deluged with complaints about HCGM's ejection and Elgin wanted to provide some propoganda for the folks with the televised conversation. When was the last time you've heard announcers go out of their way to mention ALL of the officials hired to work the tournament? Maybe I'm way too sensitive but it really set me off listening to those two idiots trying to defend the garbage we've witnessed.

I think it's pretty obvious that some coaches are being babied in this league. These ref crews can honestly all go suck themselves. It's beyond pathetic.
