Markis is currently listed as 6-9, but this is from February of this year.

Hurley believes that the best is yet to come for McDuffie.

“He’s going to get bigger,” Hurley said. “He still probably has two inches of growing left, which will make him a realistic 6-foot-10 or 6-foot-11. He needs to get a little more meat on his bones, but he’s still amazingly strong for a skinny kid. He has a bright future.”

We may be in way better shape at Forward than we realize right now. Tons of returning experience that will hopefully pay off next year and two seemingly impressive big guys about to come in.
Wasn't McDuffie 6'7" when he signed? If he grew 2 inches in a year and is only 18 he may grow to 6'10" or 11". Folks say Kevin Durant clone...would seem to be.

IF both Hamilton and McDuffie are 6'9", that would help ease my concerns for more height in the post. We would have both height and athleticism. I'll take it...

        Really pumped about next year.

McDuffie is still 17. He doesn't turn 18 until next September.

I though that Tyrone was 6-2?

              6'3 is the answer.

Variability. It is a statistical question of some sort.

What is the range of reported heights?

What is the median or reported heights?

                  Box and whisker plot?

So I have no idea how tall any of these players are in reality. I'm just going off most recent listed heights.

Taylor is 6-4 per Paul Sullentrop.

I've only seen Landry listed at 6-4.

McDuffie is 6-7 per Paul, 6-8 per the St Anthony roster, and 6-9 per his coach.

Hamilton is 6-9 per him and the SCA roster but 6-8 per Sully.

At most positions, an inch (oops this could easily be misconsrewed and I know how to spell the word), does not matter, except when your 6-8 center is only 6-7 and giving away four or five inches.

In just looking around a little bit you can find him listed at 6-2, 6-3 and 6-4. Hargrave does not have the heights and weights listed on their roster.

Last summer Tyrome himself said he was 6-3. Not that he could not have grown an inch in the last 9 months:

Taylor is 6’3” and 170 pounds, meaning his small frame may lead programs to see him as only a point guard. However, Taylor said he sees himself as more of a combo guard due to his scoring ability.

“I feel I am more successful at point guard then shooting guard,” he said. “However, I am a combo guard. I will be playing the point at Hargrave, but people tag me as a shooting guard because of the way I score. I want to get stronger. I am 6’3,” but I am underweight, and playing point guard I have to get bigger.”

Another site that lists him at 6-3.

Given the run of great point guard play under Marshall, is anyone else wondering who the heir apparent to VanVleet will be? Can't replace a floor general like VanVleet but I'm hoping someone will groomed to take over. My best guess would be Taylor at this point. Thoughts?

no surprise, coming from you, tamu, turgeon didn't appreciate what he had, tamu.

louisville formula appears to be the better blueprint, obviously, and much more realistic. gonzaga has been to the final four since when?

Yep, Taylor, already supposed to be an elite defender, sculpted, left handed.

                                Let me do some counting.
                                Bush Dubya - 6'11", 2nd year
                                Rauno Nurger - 6'10", 2nd year
Eric Hamilton - 6'9", prep experience (like Zach Brown)
                                Tevin Glass - 6'8", 2nd year
                                Shaq Morris - 6'7", 3rd year
                                Rashard Kelly - 6'7", 2nd year
                                Markis McDuffie - 6'7"ish, freshman
                                Zach Brown - 6'6", prep exp & 2nd year
                                Wessel - 6'4", 5th year

It's a big team and it's starting to gain traction on the experience side of things. If the Kaminsky effect happens to a couple of these guys, we have a very deep front court coming back.
