Perry jumped sideways, he was not straight up.

Yeah, I thought Perry definitely fouled Fred after looking at the replays even though he received the worst end of it.
I think Oubre intended to foul Tekele hard enough to make sure he didn't make the basket but I don't think he intended to injure Tekele although he easily could have. I think a Flagrant 1 was probably the right call. Oubre at least made an attempt to break Tekele's fall although not very successfully.
Clearly Oubre's transgression was a totally different situation and a significantly worse offense then Fred's accidental elbow to the nose while he was fighting off a much bigger man while being in a vulnerable position and after having taken some contact from that bigger man. And they were rightfully treated differently by the officials.

I still think The Hairpiece is a great coach, but my goodness, HCGM just clowned him yesterday.Kansas is Flat. The Earth is Not!!

It wasn't until the end of the game where I saw him get upset, and by then it was too late.
Is this a case of overlooking us, or is this his usual demeanor?
"But Bill, how could you lose for a third time to an MVC team in the tournament?"
To me, it was the look of utter disbelief, like he just couldn't comprehend that a bunch of lunch pail, blue collar, two star players just schooled his five stars. I think Fred said it best: "This is college. You ain't no draft pick yet."

If someone is technically adept and knows how to create a GIF, in the first half when the Shox hit the three to take the lead before halftime, CBS pans to the KU bench when Self calls a T.O. Self is zoomed in a bit and you can read his lips - he's saying, "they think they've won". This is classic seeing his cheesy ass grin, saying this to his players, little did he know at the time he was right.

Here are a select few of my notes from yesterday.
The pep rally was top notch. Coach Marshall and Dave Dahl deserve an A+ for their speeches.
The "Eat Mor Chickin-Hawk" (Chick-fil-AThemed) written on the paper plates and held up by a couple WSU fans was too freaking hilarious.
FVV made a couple of passes in the second after the use of the ball screen that were extraordinary. He still amazes me every time I see him play.
Really wish they would have allowed us to bring in our "No One Can Hustle Like Wessel" sign as it would have been fitting. The young man played his heart out. Not allowing signs bigger than a piece of paper in the arena is silly.
I had absolutely no bad experiences at any point with either the KU or Creighton fanbases. Everyone around us was fairly quiet and very polite especially considering we were clapping, standing up, and yelling throughout the entire game.
Great turnout of WSU fans. It is an amazing feeling to be a part of Shocker Nation.
I have no way of putting into words how special the experience was. Having the opportunity to watch Coach Marshall and the entire WSU squad put on that type of performance is something I'll never forget!Last edited by Ta Town Shocker; March 23, 2015, 10:32 PM.Shocker fan for life after witnessing my first game in person, the 80-74 win over the #12 Creighton Bluejays at the Kansas Coliseum.

You've got to read this. Either this means that KU men like spending their rich Kansas City Mommy and Daddy's money or that they have no game whatsoever.
