Everyone but WCS. He was too emotional to show good sportsmanship...:)

It's really hard to suck it up and do the same thing you have done at every other game.

I definitely wanted the loss. I just wish it could've happened at the hands of the Shocks. Those UK boys still deserve a huge pat on the back for a hell of a season though. I hope the Shocks and UK meet up again in the near future.

                • I fully expected Wisconsin to win. After watching what Wisconsin did to the Arizona Wildcats, I thought they had a very good chance at the NC. They are an incredible offensive team. They hit like 10 of 12 three pointers against the Cats in the second half. They are on a mission and have incredible confidence.

                  • At least UK won't have to vacate a NC when Cal bolts and the NCAA investigates. Of course ,the NCAA being the NCAA, Western kentucky better watch their ass.
One quick note before we present the rankings: With Wichita State’s move to the American Athletic Conference, the Shockers have moved out of the mid-major club. We wish the Shockers well against Cincinnati, UConn, SMU, and more.

Wisconsin only had seven 3-pointers in the game.

If they would have lost in the regular season, I wouldn't have cared if they won.

Hell, if this would have been ten years from now, I wouldn't have cared if they went 40-0.

The fact that they ended WSU's run last season AND broke WSU's 34-0 record the very next season is why I was rooting for a loss.

I've seen these comments from you all year, but I never got the feeling shocker fans wanted a Kentucky loss anymore than the rest of the country did. If both were happening in the same season, I could see it, but I never really felt anything Kentucky did would take away from what we accomplished last year. Both teams had great seasons in consecutive years. I did really want to get vengeance on uk for last year, but I won't lie and say I liked our chances against you. Anyway, who's ready for a home-home?!

                          • I know I'm an asshole, but I can't help but smile when I see 8-12 year-old kids cry when their team loses. There was plenty of that tonight.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

They are still young enough that they don't realize how lame being a Kentucky fan is. You've got 350 D-1 teams that have to juggle coaches, recruiting, player development, cohesion and whatever else I can think of all year (and really for 4 years at a time in a lot of cases) to create the beautiful thing that is college basketball. Then you have one team that consistently grabs up almost all of the top players in each class "somehow" and they still can't win the title...and the little kid fans cry...

Cry when you are Seth Tuttles mother and little brother, not when your team 8 deep of draft picks can't win a title.
