  • Video of the "goaltend". Even if you could technically justify the ball being in the cylinder (and even that's not conclusive), the ball had absolutely no chance to go back in.

Brad Stevens has improved the Celtics tremendously in his second year in the League, I'm not sure he'll leave the NBA.
I'm not worried, either, but I think it's because HCGM doesn't want to go to Tx right now. Does anyone know where his daughter is at in school? Maybe getting close to that "bad time to move" stage...

        • SMU had exactly 0 wins vs NCAA teams this year that were at large bids. Their only NCAA tourney wins were against Eastern Washington, Wyoming and Texas Southern all teams seeded 12 or lower and only got in because they won their conf tournament.

UCLA resume was not good they did not deserve a bid and when they make the sweet 16 it still won't mean they should have been in.

Which makes it all the more worse why you would even touch it in that situation. I know you're going up and expecting it to hit rim first, but you can't do that.

It clearly wasn't going in, but to me, it looked like it was going to touch rim and he clearly tipped it before it hit the rim. Goal tend. Game over.

I don't think he touched it until after it bounced off the rim. That's the only change-of-direction of the ball I can see.

The ball was bouncing away from the outside part of the rim when touched. I've seen a lot of put backs not called that were more likely goal tending.

Are you sure he hit before it touched the rim? I thought like you the first several times I watched it, but then it seemed like there was a change in direction before the tip. Slo Mo, please!!
