Originally posted by asiseeit View PostHenderson, Holland, and Glass surely are aware of their situations. Three pretty good
players but I think their lack of PT doesn't bode well for them. I'll say it again. CF and
ZB are going to play significant minutes next season. EW also. Practices will be even
more competitive next year. That's a good thing. I am going to go out on a limb with
my next suggestion. Early this season I saw RN make a very Kevin McHale like move
down low. At that time I thought to myself, whoa, THIS is our answer to a future low
post player. He never displayed that ability again but rarely was asked to post up during
the season. I think the ability is there. I am hoping he puts on 15-20 pounds of muscle
and becomes a strong low post player. If that could happen we go from a sweet 16 threat
to a F4 threat the next THREE seasons.

That was the question."Don't measure yourself by what you have accomplished, but by what you should accomplish with your ability."

That was the question.I just want to stand on land...

If I had a gun with two bullets and was in a room with Hitler, Bin Laden, and a Creighton fan, I think I'd shoot the Creighton fan twice.

That was the question."When life hands you lemons, make lemonade." Better have some sugar and water too, or else your lemonade will suck!

Originally posted by ArtVandalay View PostCertainly. I base my simple opinion on nothing but playing time, years of eligibility remaining, and program needs. Nurger is a great example. He had talent and is a freshman. Him staying makes sense over one year of Bush/Glass. But he's 22 and from another continent. He may decide to go home and get paid well to play ball in Europe. That's hard to judge.

This is my opinion, I know everyone has an opinion on how this will work out. I don't see Nurger or Wamukota going anywhere. As of right now we have three centers for next season, Shaq and those two guys. If one of them leaves, we only have two centers. What if one of those guys gets hurt? Then we have one true center. I can't see HCGM going that route.
Does anyone want to see R Kelly, T Glass, McDuffie, Hamilton, or Wessel play at center? I know I don't.
I'm not sure how the scholarship situation is going to work, but I just can't see one of the centers being pushed out the door. If one does decide to leave, I sure hope Marshall has an adequate replacement in mind.

You know a line-up I'd like to see on occasion next year would be...
Fred @ Point (duh)
Baker @ 2 (duh)
6'8" McDuffie @ 3
6'-9" Hamilton @ 4
Wide Body ShaQ @ 5
Due to learning Mashalls defensive schemes...we probably won't get much of a chance to see that...but if those 2 newbies could pick it up quicker than this year's newbies....it'd be cool to see that for a few minutes against Sister's of the Poor or some school like that.
btw...I too think Brown will be a "player" at Wichita. That kid looks to be a real stud!FINAL FOURS:
