Not sure how I feel about them talking about a court storming with a win. On one hand I feel respect that we're worthy of a court storming. On the other, I'm wondering why a #18 team would rush the court over a #12 team. If they think they should win, which they have a great shot at winning, I think everyone agrees with that, then act like you belong.

Generally I agree. But there are other things that come into play as well. For instance, not often do they get a chance to play a Top 20 team at home. Not often is the conference race so tied to that game. Not often does a game present itself to MVC teams that basically assures them of NCAA play. Not often has that opponent demolished them and their conference mates in 32 consecutive matches. I don't think it's that hard to justify a court-storming in this particular case.

KenPom gives us a 46% chance of winning with a 1 point projected margin of loss.

They're going to be favored by at least a couple of points. If there's a cardinal rule to court storming it is that you don't rush court for games you're already expected to win.

Time for Evan to step up and keep defenses honest, he has looked like a very reluctant shooter recently. UNI will make guys take shots that they aren't accustomed to making. They are not going to let 31-23-12 beat them, which means that Evan and Tekele will need to make shots for us to get one in the left column on Saturday. Points will be at a premium and free throws and layups have to fall. Will be interesting to see who 3G and Benny J matchup against each other. UNI other than Tuttle does not have 1 dominant player that you can limit by placing Tekele on him. Darius will need to be good and play smart, Tuttle lives at the line and is very crafty. Points at the line could very well be the difference in this game.

I expect us to be a road dog in this game, but these are the kind of games that we have won under 3G and I would expect this outcome to create a festive mood in Wichita at about 5:15 on Saturday in a very low scoring affair.

That is probably true, but not terribly relevant. I can almost guarantee you UNI students and fans will rush the court if they win this game regardless of any written or unwritten rules.

Let's just hope we don't have to find out if that will, in fact, be the case.

Also, don't look dumb and predict a double digit win at Northern Iowa or anything like that. Be smart.

If WSU fails to win by double digits, you still won't have been proven right.
If WSU does win by double digits, you will look like a fool.

Wow, he really did write this. God help him if he shows his face around here again. It's one thing to write nice neutral "look forward to the game" post on an opponent's board. It's something else entirely to go there just to insult everyone on a board that you participate in. So dumb.
