I think the game will be relatively close the first few minutes, but the absence of MM will catch up with MSU and the Shox win by 14, 72-58.

Can't see this MoSt team hanging with us without Marshall, regardless of crowd, unless we take the game completely for granted, refs call a very tight game, and Sleepwalker Shaq shows up.

If the Pizza House (according to its website, it's at 312 E. Commercial) is still rolling them out, and you like thin crust, almost pastry-style pizza, you'd be hard pressed to find a better example anywhere. I'd drive an hour or more out of my way -- and have done so more than once -- to eat there. I can't think of any other reason to go to Springfield, except maybe as a jumping-off point for a trip to Branson or Eureka Springs, but it's reason enough for me.
By the way, this is a dangerous game, but the Shocks know that too, and I expect them to take care of business on the road.

Oh, and they are giving away shirts that say "Not a State" at the game as well... Sigh

This is just one of many reasons that I can't stand the phrase "take care of business" (no offense @WSUwatcher:). I'm completely sick of hearing it. As if our talent and coaching just allows us to show up and do work and win. As if there's no passion in athletics. Missouri State has no say in the outcome. Anyone that thinks that their team hasn't been chewing on last year's loss for 12 months is fooling themselves. Hell, they've had a countdown clock for months. Their season will be made with a win tomorrow. Don't pay any attention to Marcus Marshall being gone or them not even putting up a fight at UNI Sunday. THIS is THEIR Super Bowl, and YES, they will have a say in the outcome. It's sports, and passion matters. EVERY flipping time.
I know what you (and everyone other fan of every other team from KU to UNI to Newman) are saying and trying to connote, I'm just tired of the phrase. :)
Rant over, carry on.

Well, if that's what they want to do, maybe it's time to make some "not a basketball team" shirts.
Edit: I know, waste of athletic department resources. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....
.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

As it is, even if they swept us this year, they wouldn't be our rivals. Lusk is a terrible coach who will only stick around because they have an even worse AD who made Lusk un-fire-able before he had done anything worth protecting, and MoSt isn't very good.Originally posted by BleacherReportFred VanVleet on Shockers' 3-Pt Shooting Confidence -- ' Honestly, I just tell these guys to let their nuts hang.'

Also, they have a special of 4 upper level tickets and a Papa John's pizza all for $34...for their team's Super Bowl...and TONS of tickets are still available. Lame!
