Going back to K-State, here was Hurt's line for the game today:

4 points in 15 minutes on 2 of 4 shooting. 2 rebounds, 1 assist and no blocks. Pretty embarrassing stats in that much time against a team that is probably a lot less big and athletic than what we've been playing.

I don't think he would have been the answer to our problems up front.

I agree but Hurt is coming back from an injury.

As matter of fact, most all of the notable big men we "missed" on have not impressed...

After the watching the game, I decided to take a "holiday" from the board for the better of it. I feel I would've said some things in the heat of the moment that I probably would have regretted blurting out.

As it stands, the loss wasn't the end of the world. We have a Top 10 RPI and a Top 10 SOS. Numbers wise, we're actually in a better situation this year than we were at this time last year. People need to realize comparing this team to last year is a losing proposition.

I'm hoping after Wednesday's game, the ol' Fev will be back to form.
