You think Jans had the scout on Drake?
            :-)

Yep. Drake can go win all their other games, but I want Jans to launch quickly in his career.

Must have been a previous scheduled game.

Cant fathom that Coach Jans would schedule such an RPI drag his first year.

                    Um. Wow, that surprises me.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

A D-III team that Blake Simmons should be starting for.

Why are they playing a D-3?

They wanted a team they could match up with athletically.

SIU is a nice (not great) scrappy team. Real active on defense, gets in passing lanes. Sloppy game though. You can tell both teams are young.

                              SIU - 56
                              SLU - 51
                              5:37 left
"He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!
