Bahahaha, what? Maybe we'll all be more inclined to take Giacoletti seriously when his team isn't god awful. Right now he hasn't even proven that he's a good evaluator of talent.

Wow, Ray Giacoletti isn't really helping Dan Muller with that comment. If ISU really is more talented, Dan should answer why he's never beaten Marshall... superior players, inferior coaching?

Last year it seemed like the other valley coaches just kissed our ass. It is better for the conference if they try to beat our ass instead. That being said this comment should make Drakes trip to Wichita a little more "interesting".

Hopefully we have cemented a frosh pecking order by then, and can welcome him with open arms - so to speak - on the return game to Koch.

I wouldn't necessarily disagree that ISUr might have a better player - currently and at this very spot in time - here or there over WSU. That is a very reasonable take. Saying ISUr has better players from 1-12 is a shot over the bow when you're a lifeboat picking a fight with a battleship. The 3G pimp hand will be coming strong.

Actually, I was think something along these lines last night. Not the beat Drake by 60 pts thing, but the no walk-ons.

Last year, WSU didn't have a lot of young players; so walk-ons got the mop up minutes. This year, they have enough freshman that need experience, so we may see them in getting those minutes from now on.

As others have mentioned, if that horseshit comment was true, where's all of Illinois State's Valley titles, NCAA Tournaments, Final Fours, undefeated seasons, and more importantly, wins over Wichita State?

Now I can see why Drake sucks so bad. I REALLY hope this gets to the correct group of people before the remaining Drake and Illinois State games.
