That's true. Unfortunately, he could be the same guy that causes Marshall to leave if he doesn't get something cranking or if Bardo doesn't take us somewhere else.

      Yep, it should be Vegas.
Hey that's a great idea!! Unless Elgin proposes it. Then it's stupid.

Vegas is planning to build a 20k seat arena near NYNY. That would be nice. Not excited about the Orleans, nor the MGM or T/M

When is the SEC tournament in St Louis? 2016 or something, right?

I imagine both the MVC and SEC can't have their tournaments in St Louis. Obviously the mvc has our tournament a week early, but I don't think the Blues would give up their arena for two weeks in a row that late in the season, right? I dunno

It'll be interesting to see how the word "historic" is defined with this little powwow tomorrow.
                  Deuces Valley.
                  ... No really, deuces.

                      Fact or guess?

                      Mr. Suellentrop disagrees.

well obviously it can't be a fact until it is announced so it my guess (and probably a dose of wishfull hoping). Why hype a "were staying at scotttrade"? But then again that would be the MVC...

Sullentrop is on vacation so I think he is going by what he heard up to then, but other sportswriters from other MVC teams are speculating KC/STL. MSU beat writer said "Missouri Valley Conference to announce sites of men's basketball tourney beyond 2015 on Wednesday." Of course it probably slopping writing.

Whether on vacation or not, Paul Suellentrop is right far more often than not, and even then he's usually not far off base.

I'm confident we're not at an end in St. Louis.

2018. FWIW, the following is from the Columbia, MO Daily Tribune (05/28/2014):

The SEC Tournament will be played days after the Scottrade Center hosts the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament, which has called St. Louis home since 1991.

However, it does seem feasible that the conference could elect to move the MVC tournament to another city for 2018.

I think they are staying in STL and it would be historic cause every year they stay is historic technically.

I get the feeling that the "historic" announcement has more to do with a title sponsor and a slight name change to the event.

Let's welcome our new sponsor McDonalds who has signed on to be the Missouri Valley Conference title sponsor for the next 7 years.

The event will now be called the Golden Arches Madness.

And to even out the playing field and make Golden Arches Madness a true neutral sight, each schools allotment of tickets will be 300 max.
