When is the SEC tournament in St Louis? 2016 or something, right?
I imagine both the MVC and SEC can't have their tournaments in St Louis. Obviously the mvc has our tournament a week early, but I don't think the Blues would give up their arena for two weeks in a row that late in the season, right? I dunno

Mr. Suellentrop disagrees.
Sullentrop is on vacation so I think he is going by what he heard up to then, but other sportswriters from other MVC teams are speculating KC/STL. MSU beat writer said "Missouri Valley Conference to announce sites of men's basketball tourney beyond 2015 on Wednesday." Of course it probably slopping writing.

The SEC Tournament will be played days after the Scottrade Center hosts the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament, which has called St. Louis home since 1991.

However, it does seem feasible that the conference could elect to move the MVC tournament to another city for 2018.ShockerNet is a rat infested cess pool.

I get the feeling that the "historic" announcement has more to do with a title sponsor and a slight name change to the event.
Let's welcome our new sponsor McDonalds who has signed on to be the Missouri Valley Conference title sponsor for the next 7 years.
The event will now be called the Golden Arches Madness.
And to even out the playing field and make Golden Arches Madness a true neutral sight, each schools allotment of tickets will be 300 max.Marge: The plant called and said that if you don't come in tomorrow, don't bother coming in Monday.
Homer: WOOHOO! Four day weekend.
