  • In my opinion, Cle was one of our most exciting players, in the recent past, to watch.

You just knew for certain when he took off and was driving to the basket, that he was going to score.

    Best of luck, Cle.

    • One of my favorites as well. On the biggest stage, he always shined the most. Good luck Cle, show them what you can do!!!
Marge: The plant called and said that if you don't come in tomorrow, don't bother coming in Monday.
      Homer: WOOHOO! Four day weekend.

                • Cle with the DNP. That seems like a bad sign.

                  • I hope he doesn't go down as a "what if?" story in NBA history..

He was a second round pick without any hype. Lots of guys don't stick in the NBA in that scenario. I bet for him it's certainly a "what if" situation as he had thus far squandered his opportunities.
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

                      • Cle's a true tweener. Not big enough to play the 4, not a good enough ball handler to play the 3. His best hope is to be an automatic 3 point shooter ala Robert Horry, not sure if that's in the cards for him.

They were saying he was going to likely be a late first rounder. If you watched on draft night, they were calling for him after pick 20 or so.

As far as squandering opportunities, yes, that is what I meant. He had the talent to make it, but did he have the drive? I hate to question that from Cle, but he staying out late at strip clubs isont what I would be doing if I was on the boarder line of the NBA.

He need to work (almost) exclusively on ball handling, once he got to the NBA. That is really the only thing that kept him from being playing solid minutes.

Maybe he did. We don't get he see the day-to-day behind the scenes. I think he had the tools in his box to improve enough to make it. Which is what makes it a "what if?" situation for me.

                            • Cle was a scorer first with everything else second. In the college game he was able to overcome defiencies by just being better physically. Not gonna happen in the NBA. I think his future lies overseas.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

The upper divisions of Euro ball can be relatively lucrative. Better that than spending five years bounvong around D League and not making a roster.
