I would not like to see Fred break Ron's ankles in a move to the basket, nor would I like to see Fred have most of his drives be thwarted by Ron blocking them from behind. In truth, they've probably had more face-to-face competition with each other than either can stand, so let's let them move on to whipping someone else.

If they make the rosters, the likelihood of court time, at the same time, and a head to head matchup are unlikely.

      • Cleanthony Early, team president Phil Jackson’s first ever draft pick for the Knicks, will be featured on the summer-league team that will compete in Orlando as he attempts a comeback from last sea…

        • Perhaps Ron will prove to be a steadying influence on Cle and help keep him focused on what's important. Good luck to both Ron and Cle.

          • Any chance these games will be televised? Would be amazing to watch Cle/Bakes play together again.

            • I read somewhere that they will be on the NBA Network. I haven't looked yet, but I'm hoping that is the case.

They're both going to get mopped up on a few plays. It's the NBA. At some point, Fred will find himself guarding the likes of LeBron on a switch and LBJ is going to abuse him. I don't like it, but it'll happen.

Not guarding each other isn't going to save them from being imperfect, especially at the next level. I'd suggest having a little fun with this.

                  • Cle not offered a qualifying offer by the Knicks. He will be an unrestricted free agent. Not surprising.

I think either Toronto if Fred makes it or Boston.

Silence is not golden in this case. I expect a stint in the D League or a venture overseas as his only options at this point. There is good money to be had over there and he wouldn't have to see Trump/Clinton all over the tube.
