We were always going to get LMU since we are the 1 seed....just kinda one of those "it is what it is" matchups. Beats the hell out of last year's Tennessee State pairing as the token turd for the exempt tournament at least.

Getting a likely matchup with Nebraska and a good chance at also playing Colorado (or a good GWU team) is worth getting excited about IMO.

It means that the tournament counts for 1 game, even though 3 will be played. Teams are allowed to only play 28 games a year. The entire tournament counts as one game. If we played in a four-game tournament (like CBE Classic), we could play that 31st game. Since this tournament only has 3 games, we'll get 30 games for the year.

Correct. But to clarify for AZ, the "record" will include all 30 games, (eg. 30-0 or 29-1)
