I have a hunch about the Masiello situation and it might just be paperwork that he forgot to do or even a fee he didn't pay and thus his actual graduation was held when he thought it wasn't It happens a lot more than people think.

It happens often. I know first hand and it cost a semester.

I had completed the requirements for a Civil Engineeing degree at TAMU. I failed to apply for a degree for May graduation. After applying for a degree for January graduation, it was awarded.

This article states that Manhattan College has put Masiello on leave while he reviews the status of his degree. Manhattan College obviously believes they are still his employer.

I could see why coach wants him. He's over achieved at NCC for a while now. And I believe that they have a prior relationship. That's how the series got set up in the first place.

Looks like he makes $100,000 a year. He's rumored to be in the mix for the Florida Atlantic and Marshall jobs.

He would double that if he took Coach Jans' spot. But It seems more likely that he would take one of the aforementioned head coaching jobs if offered.
