Auburn hires bruce pearl, not that I think they had a chance at 3G...

Any chance Forbes would go back and join up with Pearl?

I would hope he learned his lesson from last time.

Tennessee fans are going to be pissed about this. I'm sure there's already a meltdown going on on their message board. Just wait until Auburn beats Tennessee.

Why leave for a lesser tier job? Also, Forbes was left out to dry after the Peal incident. I doubt he jumps ship.

I don't see it happening as I think he's very appreciative to 3G and the university for giving a good job at Div I. Plus, he's no fool, he has a front row seat at one of the better programs in the country. He's a basketball guy and I'm pretty sure bb is not a priority at Auburn.

Not this year, but Crean's seat is going to be feeling quite a bit warmer in the next 2 years or so if they don't start having results. IU fired Mike Davis after 6 seasons, and Crean just finished his 6th year. In those 6 seasons, Davis's record was 115-79 (55-41 Big Ten) with one T-9th place conference finish, while Crean's is 101-97 (40-68) with 4 T-8th or worse conference finishes. Obviously Crean inherited a far worse situation, but more IU fans are going to get antsy real soon. Recent recruiting has kept his seat cooler; if that eventually translates into results remains to be seen.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

Surely no one believes any of this is relevant to Marshall? Chris Jans, maybe...
