For the other post, I do apologize for the rebuttal of the Card fan, but it was more than opinion they were stating with the use of the word 'idiot' when talking about our fans that triggered the reply. And to say our coach was beneath theirs is bit off considering UL has only won once in 7 tries against UK since he's been there.
UK can NOT look past any one including K State.
I understand my presence here is not totally welcome, but I will continue to support WS outside of UK. Best of luck.

WSU vs TN - WSU +5 rebounding
TN vs UK - TN +15 on the boards.
As big as UK's front line is ( and they are big ) Stokes and Maymon tore them up on the offensive glass and on the glass in general. I thought WSU's post men dominated TN's for most of the game earlier this year. So if you want to say that WSU hasn't faced a front line as physical as UK's then you'd be wrong.
I also don't think people realize that, even in a down year for the Valley, there are still some big, physical MF'ers in this league that certainly gave WSU their best shot and most physical game of the season. The mountains are calling, and I must go.

The major concern with WS is if the Shockers fall behind. UL nor Duke is a team you can fall behind double digits on late in the game and make run on. WS just needs to stay consistent with their shooting and keep the games close.Last edited by Slam21; March 17, 2014, 03:40 AM.

Thanks for the support. I'm not saying your presence isn't welcome, cause I love meeting fans of other teams, but it's the UL-UK rivalry crap that no one here wants to listen to and using the term "mid-major" isn't gonna win many friends either.
But anyways, I don't watch much of the SEC so I don't have a deep knowledge of UK; would you consider any of the wildcat players as a defensive stopper or who do you think matches up best on a player like Earlyffrom WSU? Also, which (if any) of the freshmen hyped as one and done do you think might stay for a sophomore season?

Cauley-Stein is a shot blocker and rebounder, nothing much on the offensive side except for alley-oops... Randle is a beast on the boards and offensive end, but he loves to spin to his left, so that needs to be taken away.
On the offensive end, they have been stagnant at times, but they recently switched their offense so that now Randle sets picks for Cauley-Stein so that Randle can get one-on-one match ups on the weak side of the defense...
Young is an ok shooter, but he is very streaky...
The twins... Turnover prone, and below average from outside IMO

He gives WSU a 14% chance of making the final 4 and a 5% chance of winning it all.
