  • It would be cool to play the team who said they would go undefeated vs the who actually went undefeated. Epic. What I don't like about our regional is having three teams we already played this year in it. Too many are over looking St Louis.

These kids don't know how to play as a team. We have some amazing players but we play as a unit, not as 5 individuals in the same jerseys.
Absolutely. We play as a unit and its going to be our advantage.

      • That is great news about Louisville fan support in Indianapolis. We all know the shockers play better on the road. I know we're the 1 seed but can we choose to wear the black jerseys?

Definitely for MSU. All five on ESPN picked them to win it all. None of them bad WSU in the elite 8.

            • They've got a stats/computer program matrix simulation guy on SportsCenter and his program forecasts WSU winning a championship at 5% and making a Final 4 at 14%

              • Nate Silver just said on espn that Louisville has the best chance of anybody of winning it all at 15%. He did add that it is very even this year and a lot of teams could win it. He also said that WSU has the toughest path to the final 4 of any number 1 seed that he has ever seen. He gives WSU a 14% chance of making the final 4 and a 5% chance of winning it all.

                • We talked all year about how we tried to schedule teams and no one would play the Shox. Now they can't duck and run anymore. I'm glad the Shox a tough draw. Let's shut these mffers down and show them how we PLAY ANGRY once and for all.

                  • And since we played no one, they will still overlook us.

Honestly, if we make the final 4. The last weekend will be US vs. Sweden after knocking off the USSR. The heavy lifting will have been done.

Here are a couple quotes from an article Pat Forde wrote ripping UK/Calipari a couple weeks ago.

After losing to Arkansas at home Thursday, you mentioned "a couple no-shows" without naming names. And you blamed forward Julius Randle for wearing down by not taking himself out of the lineup. "I'm trying to get guys to sub themselves," you said. "They just don't get it." For $5.2 million a year, you'd think the coach could add "manage the substitution rotation" to his list of responsibilities,Who are young. (Stop me if you've heard this before: Kentucky has a young team.)

Then there was your comment to the Kentucky radio crew Saturday night: "They're counting on me too much." Apparently we are reaching the Pontius Pilate stage of the season, where the coach washes his hands and turns an increasingly unpleasant endeavor over to the unpaid laborers.
Q: In February you proclaimed this to be the most overanalyzed team in the history of sports. Are five losses in a weak SEC a clever ploy to slow down the rampant analysis of the Wildcats?
And just for fun (knock on wood if necessary):
Q: Can the 40-0 T-shirts people have been using to wax their cars be forwarded to the good people of Wichita? Just in case?
You made your bed, John Calipari, now lie in it

                          • One region has to be the toughest. I appreciate the pundits saying we got screwed, but one region has to be the toughest. Somebody has to win.
I've also seen WSU picked to play in championship game. Lets do that! We've accomplished a tough road to the Final Four. Lets be champions!
