"Wichita State improved to 20-0 tonight, and Tekele Cotton damn near killed an Illinois State Redbird. Watch this: http://cbsprt.co/1mIBRJH"

He could have gotten higher but his head hit the backboard.

Tekele "the stilt" Cotton. Look like he launched off a trampoline, similar to a Warren Armstrong dunk. WOW!!!

          • Did the students chant "overrated", even after the bitchslapping? That was a big talking point on redturdfan.net earlier today.

For a player that sometimes gets lost in the limelight, it is well-deserved.

                Way ta go Tekele!

                • Is it possible that Cotton's dunk might garner even more national attention for the Shox? Might a few naysayers be converted after watching little 'ole WSU show it has athletes just as good as the "big boys"?

Well, since Cotton is 6'2" and his head was around 2, 3, or 4 inches below the rim, that would make him around 42-44 inches off the floor on that dunk. And is Cotton even 6'2"?

I've stood face to face with Tekele. 6'2" is max, maybe.

                          • From the first draft of the ESPN recap. Another name for the list.

"Ryan Baker added 15 points as Wichita used a 22-6 surge out of halftime to quiet a crowd of 9,510, Illinois State's largest in three years."
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.
