Did he ever shoot that well from 3 when he was at Heights? Most of the time he was passing off to his teammates. He made some 3-point shots early in his freshman season and now everyone thinks he's another Ron Baker from 3.

What he needs to do is find a way to get passes to an open teammate. I haven't seen him drive too much, if at all. Maybe he needs to add that to his game.

I watched the pregame shoot around, prior to the ORU game.

Evan put up a 3 ball shot from the right side, 45 degree angle. It was not a goof around for fun shot. The ball went over the iron, hit the backboard and bounced toward the scorer's table. It was a very ugly shot.

During the game, Evan put up a 3 ball, which was very ugly. It was flat and ugly, but it did draw iron. Coach Marshall immediately subbed for Evan. The reason for the substitution may not have anything to do with the shot.

Something is wrong. Evan may have lost confidence in his shot and his head is spinning.

Found this nugget on their boards just now...

The stage is set for Saturday for both McRae and Stokes IMO. There's not a guy on Wichita State's roster that can stop either of those 2, only they can stop themselves.

If both guys come out aggressive and stay out of foul trouble I think you could see both of their best games as Vols. Maybe not scoring total for McRae, but in efficiency and %. I could see Stokes going for 20&20 on Saturday if he plays a full 40 minutes the way he's capable of.
