(After WSU gets a #1 seed) "Then, of course, some idiot will immediately predict that the Shockers will be the first-ever No. 1 seed to lose to a No. 16 seed even though they've never lost to an opponent like that (or any opponent at all), and it won't matter that they're the nation's only defeat-less team and one of just five with zero losses outside of the top 50 of the RPI. Folks will forget all that. And they'll forget that Wisconsin lost to Northwestern, and that Wichita State is 19-0 against opponents with a better RPI than Northwestern. And they'll forget that Duke lost to Notre Dame, and that Wichita State is 16-0 against opponents with a better RPI than Notre Dame. And they'll forget that Michigan lost to Charlotte, and that Wichita State is 19-0 against teams with a better RPI than Charlotte. And they'll forget that Syracuse lost to Boston College, and that Wichita State is 22-0 against teams with a better RPI than Boston College."
@JonRothstein: Montrezl Harrell, Fred VanVleet, + why Kansas won't get to Dallas w-o a healthy Joel Embiid. Observations @CBSSports http://cbsprt.co/1nAmDWu
ESPN has come up with one of the most worthless stats to describe the Shockers. We have 0 wins over teams ranked at the time (St Louis wasn't ranked at the time we played them). Huh? So are they trying to tell me that the Win over St Louis is less than Indy State's win over Notre Dame? ND was #21 during ISUb 3rd game of the year. Or is WSU's win less than the ISUr's win over than ranked #25 Dayton.
Lets see:
St Louis #1 in the A10 Ranked top 25, top 25 in RPI.
Dayton #6 in the A10, not ranked and #41 in RPI
ND 13th in ACC, not ranked and #118 in the RPI.
Anybody think ND would have been a better win is an idiot.

This is a pretty good read about the non-rivalry between WSU-KU. I really liked this gem:
"The Shockers are a bullying team in the best way. They play with venom, as if they’re disgusted their opponents would dare show up to compete with them. Fred VanVleet controls possessions like a one-man version of FC Barcelona transferred onto a basketball court. Cotton crouches into a defensive stance and proceeds to humiliate whomever he guards. Ron Baker muscles past defenders who are too small and shoots over defenders who are too slow. Cleanthony Early is all things to all people, spending 40 minutes morphing into and out of every conceivable role."

Right now CBS >>>>>>>>>>> ESPN.
******* probably worked hard to find that one and disseminate it throughout Bristol HQ.
