Of course, it certainly is an option for WSU to both enter and exit the NCAAs undefeated.

Could you imagine that? There’d be Bill Russell and the 1956 San Francisco Dons, Bill Walton and the 1972 UCLA Bruins, Quinn Buckner and the 1976 Indiana Hoosiers—and Cleanthony Early and the 2014 Wichita State Shockers.

    Nobody’d forget that team.
Mind-boggling to even contemplate really. Of course, it is impossible to go 40-0 without going 32-0.

There are too many gems of ignorance to choose from (and by all means, quote your favorites), but I found this funny:

At least now we know how KSU is going to make it into the tournament, being selected by an uneducated panel.
Here is the statement I really like:

Gonzaga taught us last year that playing sub-par competition all season long before being thrown into the fire that is the NCAA tournament, exposes your weaknesses.
And this is some of the "sub-par competition" that Gonzaga played "all season long before being thrown into the fire that is the NCAA Tournament".

      Gonzaga
      West Virgina 50 84
      Oklahoma 47 72 NCAA
      Kansas State 52 68 NCAA
      Baylor 87 94 NIT Champ
      #22 Oklahoma State 68 69 NCAA
      #13 Illinois 85 74 NCAA
      #13 Butler 64 63 NCAA
      Davidson 67 81 NCAA

In conference Gonzaga went 3-0 against St Mary's (NCAA), 2-0 against BYU (NIT F4) and 2-0 against Santa Clara (CBI Championship).

I guess it was going 5-0 against the B12 that exposed Gonzaga's weaknesses.

It doesn't happen very often" I like that...
If I remember correctly, Laver was extremely tough going to his left -- they'd definitely want to put Tekele on him.

Meanwhile, whose game is the #32 quest tomorrow -- Magic? Another dip into football lore for Jim Brown? It's pretty easy to guess 33-35, I'd think: Bird, X, and AC. But none of those will matter until 32 is in the bag.

                              • So Creighton would just be one of those teams "in the field" that they don't even bother getting odds, right? Or were their 100-1 odds just the odds at winning two games?
