Especially when you're Wichita State.
Newsflash, Mr. Forde . . . the narrative has changed, at least with this Wichita State team. If only you'd have been there last year and told Marshall, Early, Baker, VanVleet and Cotton that they couldn't handle the pressure because they haven't been coaching or playing in the ACC, SEC or Big 12. Guess what, Mr. Forde, our guys just gave a big middle finger to that line of thinking. It would be wise to switch fraternities now, before the guys who have joined up with DeCourcy and Glockner decide the frat house has no more open beds. But who knows, maybe they'll let you sleep on the floor.

Here's a good listen from Kansas Public Radio, of all places, regarding WSU and KU in the tournament.

So, it's likely either conflict-of-interest, or just the logical result of that Mizzou education.

@tsnmike: Starting Five: Would a loss help Wichita State? Should Jahii go pro? And what makes Beilein special http://dlvr.it/54zb83
Of course, it certainly is an option for WSU to both enter and exit the NCAAs undefeated.
Could you imagine that? There’d be Bill Russell and the 1956 San Francisco Dons, Bill Walton and the 1972 UCLA Bruins, Quinn Buckner and the 1976 Indiana Hoosiers—and Cleanthony Early and the 2014 Wichita State Shockers.
Nobody’d forget that team.Kansas is Flat. The Earth is Not!!
