That is incorrect. Prep school is an optiin where the athlete pays his own way and does not start his elivibility clock. A very good option if the athlete can "afford" it. Juco is an option wherec the athlete can and does receive a scholarship, plus earns college credits. The eligibility clock runs during Juco.Originally posted by shockmonster View Post

Yup, I think we should make it a point to inform every new Illinois State signee that if they want out of their commitment and would like to attend another Valley school, they just need to enroll in prep school one extra year which will nullify their NLI and release them from their contract with Illinois State. :)

Middlebrooks has been suspended indefinitely for "conduct detrimental to the team". Didn't make the trip to Frisco for the RedBirds tourney there.
He's going to miss an actual game, so I guess it must be something worse than punching a girl and resisting arrest.
