My biggest concern isn't so much the opponent but rather the stage. Just as long as they don't get caught up in the media circus, playing in a packed dome and all the bright lights then I think we've got a shot.

That's a legitimate concern. The other aspect which I don't believe has been mentioned is the issue of shooting in a dome. It will hurt teams who aren't used to playing in a dome, because of the different sight lines on shots.

They will practice there for sure, but nerves plus different sight lines on jumpers than you're used to typically favors the team with more experience at both. We've played at the Carrier Dome and Lucas Oil Stadium this season, and I'm guessing WSU hasn't yet had that experience. We also don't need 7+ 3's to win anymore, which used to be a hallmark of Pitino basketball. We beat Duke by 22 shooting 2-13 from 3 point range. Your concern shouldn't be about your defense, because we have shown we can still win grind-out games, but your offense, and how you can generate points if the outside shots aren't falling, because when those outside shots miss, it creates transition opportunities...

How much effect does this have going from a 18,000-19,000 arenato a "dome"? I could see going fromCKA to the "dome"having a bigger effect. Don't know,cuz I've never done it.
