Ramon will be watching the game in Israel. He called into Shocker Sound Off earlier today. He said their team is currently in second place and have about 5 more games until the playoffs. He thinks the Shockers will win.

After seeing the brackets, I figured a logical, reasonable expectation for success in the tournament was a first round win.

We've done that, and beat a good, ranked Big East team the best way we could have possibly done. If we go out to Zaga tonight, this season was a massive success, and we've had a very successful tournament. We're making progress year by year.

We're playing with house money now. I think we can absolutely beat Gonzaga if things go right for us, and if we do. this is going to be a really special season. Either way, expectations are all on them.

I know there are a lot of former Shocker players and staff are paying attention tonight. It's just one of the great things about ShockerNation.

Whatever the outcome, it is a great day to be a Shocker! I am again at peace, although I'll admit to a little anxiousness. Nevertheless, life is good, this program has provided us with another year full of exciting moments and we're still battling and our Shockernet family is loud, proud and strong!

Saw Jamar Howard at church tonight (yeah, yeah...we all have skeletons ok...) So he is doing what he can to get a higher power to help. Lol seriously though looks and sounds like he is doing good.

The sad thing is I was hoping Gonzaga would go all the way and have been rooting for them all year. Just figures we're paired with em on this side of the bracket. Definitely agree with the poster earlier saying they are a better, CLASSIER Creighton. We just can't let them get out to too big of a lead early and play catch up the rest of the way. We need to keep it close and survive the first couple of runs. The team can flat out score and I'm afraid they're due for a big one after the near Southern debacle. We're also due to shoot a little better from outside as well.

While I'd be very sad to see Wichita lose, if it were to happen, I'm glad it would be to Gonzaga. I'll happily cheer for Zaga the rest of the way if they win.
