Okay, that's not going to happen!!! However, then I could give you all a 'double dose' of my forever, and forever, and forever ramblings and basketball expertise? Yikes!!! That would NOT take long but that is much more possible? Hmmmm? I just wonder? MUHAHAHAHA!!!
I'm getting dangerously close to 1000. I think tonight could be the night. Also EO is dangerously close to 4000.

With a win tonight, these milestones come upon us like a flood. EO will get his chance along with our other Shocks to make History tonight. Nights like tonight don't present themself often. Nights like tonight will be always remembered and witnessed by millions.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

I read that quote last night as well and I thought to myself, "we finally have a coach that sees the big picture."

HCGM can coach for 10 more years at WSU and retire a wealthy man. Then he can move back down to S. Carolina and enjoy some great golf until we call him back to induct him into the Shocker hall of fame. His accomplishments will be as follows:

        9 MVC Championships
        5 MVC Tourney Titles
        12 consecutive NCAA appearances
        1 Sweet Sixteen
        1 Elite Eight
        2 Final Fours
        1 National Championship

        It's a great multi-decade to be a Shocker!

        • There are some people out there that are giving the Shox little to no shot at beating the Zags. We had a family get together at my house today and one of the many KU homers from my wife's side of the family asked me if I thought WSU had any realistic shot at winning the game, insinuating that he didn't think they did.
In the bracket challenge group I joined I was the only one who had picked WSU to win this game out of 30 brackets.
Hopefully the team can use this underdog mentality as a chip on their shoulder as an added bonus to come out and play to the best of their potential. The pressure is off now that they have won the first game and there is no reason they can't go out and give the Zags a run for their money. Go Shox!!!
Shocker fan for life after witnessing my first game in person, the 80-74 win over the #12 Creighton Bluejays at the Kansas Coliseum.

          • Before the brackets were put out I was saying that Gonzaga is a final four team. After we got put in their bracket, I had to change my tune. WSU is the type of team that can beat them. If we show up today and play with energy, confidence and intelligence, we can pull it off.

                • In case things don't go well tonight and my emotions get the best of me. Let me just say this team has been a lot of fun to watch thus far and I couldn't be prouder to be a fan and booster. The intensity they play with on the floor and the way they carry themselves off of the floor is inspiring. The present is great and the future looks even better. No matter what happens I am proud of these young men and coaches. Now give 'em hell Shox!
"He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!

Something happened. I couldn't get on for a while. It kept saying database error.

                              • Regardless of what happens tonight, it's been another great year to be a Shocker. All I would ask is that the guys play hard and leave nothing on the table. If they do that, it'll be a night to remember whether we win or lose.

Those things said, now lets kick some bulldog booty!
